EMBOUCHURE ENHANCEMENT BOOK 2

(40 pages / includes free CD)

EMBOUCHURE ENHANCEMENT BOOK 3 (25 pages)
Is a book of LOW NOTE observations and studies. This is NOT a yawn through some LOW note tunes. [as some may think] It is a highly effective way to identify whether you are dropping your jaw in the middle-low register which then makes it difficult to ascend the registers and is in effect ANOTHER way to identify what is happening in REALITY in your MIDDLE - UPPER REGISTER.
EMBOUCHURE ENHANCEMENT BOOK 4 [the final frontier]
(240 pages)

Is a book showing more techniques to enable the reader HOW to CORRECT the underlying bad habits that may have been already identified with the previous books through structured and progressive text based work schedules, ideas.

THE CORNET CANON (BOOK 5) (24 pages)

[7 duets for treble clef instruments]

Ever since studying music in school for external exams I’ve always liked the intricate tonal patterns that the ‘fugue’ represents. The almost mesmeric and relentless pulse, interjections, question and answer, building to an intensity, has in the past (and still does) make for a satisfying and relaxing ‘listen.’ These 7 duets I’ve arranged for UK cornet players are easily playable by any treble clef brass instrument. For Embouchure Enhancement students the overiding factor is the ability to keep the tonal focus, clarity, and ease of operation throughout. Avoid ‘telegraphing’ your interval/pitch direction changes in the style of the JAMES STAMP school.

Best regards…
